There’s something truly magical about capturing love and anticipation against the backdrop of the ocean. This maternity session in Carlsbad, California was nothing short of breathtaking—filled with laughter, intimacy, and golden light that just got better and better as the evening went on.
We started the evening on the cliffs where they held each other close, soaking in the calm before their little one arrives. The mom-to-be looked radiant in her white dress, which flowed effortlessly with the ocean breeze, highlighting her natural glow. She was a trooper scrambling down rocks in that dress to get down to the beach.
As the sun began to dip, we moved down to the shoreline. The couple splashed playfully in the water, ran hand in hand across the beach, and shared tender, quiet moments as the sun began to set. The golden hour light was truly magical during this session, painting the skies in hues of orange and pink. It was a perfect evening.
